Dr. Frank Chow is the Director and Psychiatrist of 2OP Health. After graduating with a medical degree from the University of Adelaide, Dr. Chow completed further training in Sydney where he obtained his fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Dr. Chow has completed his certificate in old age psychiatry and is a psychogeriatrician as a Visiting Medical Officer for NSW Health.
His passion in the mental health space is raising awareness and understanding of - what we often forget – taking care of our mental health while at work. Dr. Chow hopes to be part of the solution in educating Australians and businesses on the increasing issues around mental health in the workplace and its impact on the health system and economy to make people’s lives better.
Dr. Chow has since championed the need for businesses, employers, Human Resources, and individuals to prioritise and improve workplace mental health care, provide a clear treatment pathway, and encourage early intervention. Paving the way towards better access to occupational psychiatric and psychological services, Dr. Chow helps working professionals avoid and navigate mental health issues in the workplace.
Having worked predominantly on the east coast of Australia including Sydney, Brisbane, Rockhampton, Toowoomba, Tweed Heads and Adelaide, Dr. Chow worked in Berkeley Vale Private and St John of God, North Richmond with experience to occupational related PTSD condition.
Dr. Chow has extensive experience within both private and public systems at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, Ryde Hospital, Macquarie Hospital and Manly Hospital.
